Varsly Community Guidelines

Last updated: October 7, 2026 · Version 2026-10-07b

1. Purpose

These Community Guidelines explain how we expect members to behave on Varsly. They supplement our Terms of Service. Violations may result in content removal, feature restrictions, or account suspension.

2. Be Respectful

Treat other athletes, coaches, and community members with respect. Disagreement is fine; personal attacks, bullying, and targeted harassment are not.

3. No Hate or Threats

Do not post content that promotes violence or hatred against people based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics. Do not threaten harm against anyone.

4. No Impersonation or Misrepresentation

Do not pretend to be another person, athlete, coach, school official, or Varsly staff member. Do not submit false school, roster, or coaching claims. Report impersonation using in-app reporting tools.

5. No Illegal or Dangerous Content

Do not use Varsly for illegal activity or to share content that is illegal in your jurisdiction, including exploitation, non-consensual intimate imagery, or instructions for serious harm.

6. Privacy and Consent

Do not share private information about others without permission, including phone numbers, home addresses, private messages, or content meant to remain confidential.

7. Clubhouse and Team Chat

Clubhouse is anonymous — your identity there is independent of your real profile, and Varsly does not show your real name, school, or profile photo to other users there. The display name you choose is still tied to your account behind the scenes, and anonymity does not mean immunity: harassment, impersonation, and rule-breaking are enforced the same way as anywhere else on Varsly. Team Chat, league chat, and Varsly Games use your real identity, not a Clubhouse identity — the same Guidelines apply there too. Do not use a Clubhouse identity to impersonate someone else, harass another user, out someone's real identity without consent, or evade moderation.

8. Spam and Manipulation

Do not spam, run engagement schemes, use unauthorized bots, or scrape the Service. Do not repeatedly post the same content or solicit users for unrelated commercial campaigns.

9. Varsly Games, Picks, Cards, and Virtual Credits

Varsly Games (league play, Team Chat, and mini-games like Gym, Picks, Roast, and Lightning Trivia), Picks of the Day/College Picks, and Player/Clubhouse Card voting are cosmetic entertainment features. Ball Knowledge XP and other in-game tokens are not money and have no cash value. Do not sell, buy, or trade them; do not tell others they are worth money; and do not harass people over virtual wins or losses. Treating these games as real-money gambling, or using them to run a scam, is prohibited. Only submit a Roast photo of your actual matched opponent, never anyone else, and never a photo you don't have the right to share — Roast is for lighthearted ribbing between opponents, not for embarrassing, humiliating, or outing someone. Card votes are for fun — don't organize or encourage people to pile on and vote someone down to target, embarrass, or harass them, and don't use a card's title or back-of-card text to harass, impersonate, or reveal someone's real identity.

10. Messages and Group Chats

Keep direct messages and team group chats constructive. Unwanted sexual content, harassment, and abusive pile-ons are prohibited.

11. Reporting

Use report tools when you see violations. Provide accurate information. Abuse of reporting may itself result in enforcement action.
